    Hi everyone.

Dell released an update to DDPM - Dell Display and Periperal Manager version 2.1.1.12, A00-00, who update Dell Core Services to 1.10.52.0 instead.

Remembering, the problem resides in Dell TechHub service, who is part of Dell Core Services.

I tested this release, you can download DDPM 2.1.1.12 August 25, 2025 here.

In my system I have only Dell Update and DDPM installed (I don't use SupportAssist).

Now all is working fine, and the problem not occurs.

    See my software versions bellow:

And the services installed and is startup type:

    My system CPU/MEM consuption:

In my case (Latitude 3520) after wasted several hours, the solution was:

I just uninstall ALL Dell softwares

So I reinstalled Dell Command Update for Windows Universal 5.5.0

    >>> I don't remeber exactly, but I tink this action install Dell Core Services 1.10.33.0

And installed Dell Display and Peripheral Manager 2.0.2.11

    >>> This install Dell Peripheral Core 2.0.2.276

Now I have only this Dell softwares installed.

    @DELL-Chris M @DELL-Nat M

    DDPM 2.1.0.24 release.

    https://www.dell.com/support/home/pt-br/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=672h5&oscode=wt64a&productcode=dell-display-peripheral-manager

I am pretty sure that the cause of the problem resides in Dell Core Services version 1.10.39.0 or above.

Look at my post here in page 2.

In this scenario I don't reproduce the problem.

Dell Command Update for Windows Universal 5.5.0
    Dell Core Services 1.10.33.0
Dell Display and Peripheral Manager 2.0.2.11
    Dell Peripheral Core 2.0.2.276

Then after instaling DDPM 2.1.0.24, this updates Dell Core Services to 1.10.50.0 and the problem come back.

@DELL-Nat M replacing DCU 5.5 by the 5.4 doesn't solve the problem if DCS still in version 1.10.39.0 or above.

    Paliative sollution:

Change Dell TechHub service to MANUAL START and restart the computer.

    Validate:

No need to worry about the Dell software version, just keep the TechHub service stopped.

For everyone looking for a palliative solution.
Install the following Dell software (latest version):

Dell Command Update 5.5.0, file: Dell-Command-Update-Windows-Universal-Application_C8JXV_WIN64_5.5.0_A00
Dell Periperal Manager 2.1.0.24, file: DDPM-Setup_2.1.0.24

With this the following components will be installed:

Go to SERVICES.MSC and stop and change Dell TechHub service to MANUAL START.

    Restart the computer. Validate:

With the Dell TechHub service stopped, you won't be able to use Dell Peripheral Manager software.
If you need to use it, activate the service, use the software and then stop and restart your computer.
Other Dell software will work normally.

    I don't use and don't recommend SupportAssist.

For anyone still looking for a workaround,

The simplest way to deal with the bug while it's still being resolved is to simply go to SERVICES in Windows, locate DELL TECHHUB, STOP it, and change the startup to MANUAL.

Once done, restart the device and monitor CPU and memory usage.

Ignore any installed Dell software; there's no need to update or remove it to apply this workaround.
