Latitude 5580 will not power
I have a Dell Latitude 5580 that will not power on. After removing back cover, taking out battery and holding down power button for 30 seconds for hard reset, I am able to reconnect adapter, caps light indicator will come on and I am able to press the power button for one amber light and then the Laptop is unresponsive. I can repeat these same step consistently. When depressing the power button after reset I get no post, HD clicks or indication of any responsiveness. Suggestions?

Hello,
pls open the back cover again and remove the RAM.
Clear CMOS: disconnect CMOS battery for a couple of minutes.
Here is the "How to" for this step: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kScs0CkxuWI
Reinstall battery and RAM.
Boot again.
If problem still shows up, RAM and/or mainboard are running into a problem.
Feel free to drop me a line if you need further help
