Latitude 7400 PXE
Is anyone able to get the Latitude 7400 PXE boot? I'm trying to use either a usb-c or usb-a ethernet adapter so that I can format the machine using MDT and cannot figure out the correct configuration.

Hi,
Have you upgraded to the latest bios. we were missing the option to network pxe boot using usb-c adapter/dock on the latest models we received(5300, 5400 and 7400) And they all needed to be bios updated. it's mentioned in biosversion changelog.

Just updated, but are seeing same issues. It's on BIOS version 1.2.0, can you confirm that's what you are working on? Are you able to show me the screenshot of which entry in the BIOS you are configuring?

Gotcha, thanks! Confirmed that once the BIOS updated, a USB-C ethernet adapter worked.

Make sure to enable: System Configuration -> USB Thunderbolt Config -> Enable Thunderbolt Boot Support
((Firmware))
Install firmware version Latitude 7400 2-in-1.1.4.0.32 from DELL Support
((BIOS Settings))
General --> Advanced Boot Options --> Enable UEFI Network Stack
System Configuration -> Thunderbolt Adapter Configuration --> Enable Thunderbolt Boot Support, Thunderbolt and Enable Thunderbolt (and PCIe behind TBT) Pre-boot Modules
POST Behavior --> Fastboot --> Set to Thorough
Secure Boot --> Disable (uncheck) Secure Boot Enable
(((DHCP Settings))
Add 066 to point to the DNS name of your SCCM Server (or whatever deployment type you use)
Add 067 within DHCP to point to SMSBoot\x64\wdsmgfw.efi (or whatever your EFI filename is within your SMSBoot directory is

Fixes:
- Fixed the issue where the BIOS Auto-Recovery function does not work when Secure Boot mode is enabled.
- Fixed the issue where the BIOS Auto-Recovery option does not work with Intel Optane Memory H10.
- Fixed the issue where the IPV4, IPV6 and USB boot options disappeared from boot menu when connected to USB Type-C Device with Secure Boot option enabled.
- Corrects the help string of Advanced Boot Option in BIOS setup menu.
