Latitude 7490 support M2. NVME SSD?
- Does Latitude 7490 supports M2. NVME drive? Actually i am shifted from HP Elitebook 840 G3 256 GB m2. NvmE SSD and the performance was awesome but in my current dell 7490 i feel not such difference even shifted feom 6th to eight GEN peocessor ...can i fit my M2. NvME ssd in it.?

Is the WD Blue SN 570 NVMe 500G SSD compatible with Dell Latitude 7490 laptop.

@dostabhi That should be fine as I have used that same SSD in my own Latitude laptops and found it to be fast and reliable.

@hacker5868 The Crucial link I posted is a good start. You posted NVMe SATA but those are 2 different formats. You are specifically looking for NVMe and there are many of which all are compatible. That would include Crucial, WD, KIngston, Samsung, etc.

The 7490 is compatible with NVMe M.2 SSDs. The specs here list a maximum of 512 GB but the system can actually accommodate up to 2 TB as shown here at the Crucial site.
EDIT: Actually that should be 4TB and my bad.
