Latitude E6330 SSD doesn't register

I am trying to upgrade my Latitude E6330 to an SSD. Problem is that the computer doesn't register that it's installed. I updated the BIOS to the most recent version. Not sure what to do to get it to work

Welcome to the Dell Community  @delldude121

When you say it does not register???

Do you mean it does not see the drive in the bios???

It does not see the drive when you are trying to install an OS???

    Best regards,

    U2

The computer does not see it at all - both in the BIOS and when trying to install windows. What is wierder is that the computer does not register any other HDD either. Any suggestions?

    Hi delldude121,

Latitude E6330 is shipped with Samsung or Seagate SSD/ Hard drives.

Check the link and update the required ATA drivers to see if it helps https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/latitude-e6330/drivers.
