fan and cpu check

Hi guys,

I have cpu temperature for about 65 C°. I never hear the fan . Can you tell me  if is it normal or I have to change something ? Below my output from temperature:

daniele@daniele-XPS-13-9343:~$ sensors
acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1: +25.0°C (crit = +107.0°C)
temp2: +58.0°C (crit = +105.0°C)
temp3: +58.0°C (crit = +105.0°C)

coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Physical id 0: +59.0°C (high = +105.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)
Core 0: +59.0°C (high = +105.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)
Core 1: +58.0°C (high = +105.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)

Check my recent post about thermald & intel_powerclamp. If they are installed, they're preventing your CPU from getting warm enough to need the fan - which means also preventing you from getting full performance from the CPU.

What kernel are you running? To find out: uname -a

What is your clock speed? To find out: cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep MHz

    Hi,

    this is my output:

    daniele@daniele-XPS-13-9343:~$ cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep MHz
    cpu MHz : 2200.171
    cpu MHz : 2254.484
    cpu MHz : 901.570
    cpu MHz : 799.992
    daniele@daniele-XPS-13-9343:~$ uname -a
    Linux daniele-XPS-13-9343 3.19.0-18-generic #18-Ubuntu SMP Tue May 19 18:31:35 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
    daniele@daniele-XPS-13-9343:~$

do you suggest to delete  thermald, intel_powerclamp ?

Yes. As described in the other thread.
