@kduck28 https://github.com/tr1xem/AWCC I made awcc (cli for linux) tested on arch linux on 5530 and yup its working quite great using arch on it since 129 days no issue at all
@tr1x_em I tried the tool on xero linux it doesn't open for me it is arch based I'm using a alienware m15 I'm trying to move away from windows I wasn't sure where else to message you
Ubuntu 22, yes. For the distribution you're asking about, the user community of that OS would be a better place to ask.
It may work - but it may not work with a shipped distribution, in which case you should evaluate what might not work, or might take extensive effort to locate drivers for.
I know this a way late response, but you might want to rethink the Arch Linux thing. Your best bet with the best support for most laptops to run Linux is Ubuntu and Linux Mint. Arch is for the tech-nerd in mind. Do some research on YT on all three distros. The videos are very informative.
@tr1x_em This is awesome, really. Not cli-only anymore, it seems (actually a very professional GUI).
I'm trying this anytime I'm booting Linux bare-metal, thank you very much for the work!
(Btw, any plans to port it to Windows? You know, some kilobytes are more interesting than the massive official AWCC 😅; meanwhile, I'm sticking with CCTK, even though it's not meant to work outside the enterprise-grade lines 😅).
