Install ubuntu on dimension 4100

I seem to have lost the link someone at Dell mailed to me to read before trying to install ubuntu 7.10 on my desktop, ie hardware compatability etc. Can anyone get me started? Thanks

I'm running Ubuntun 8.04 on my Dimension 4100 as a dual-boot with Windows 2000. Works perfectly for me. Granted I mainly just surf the internet and read emails with it.

It's either http://linux.dell.com and/or http://www.dell.com/linux (not sure witch one it is).

P.S. Also please do not double post the same issue (it's against the rules).
