I have a query, I have just bought Dell Inspiron 1545, and now I want to install Linux over it, I heard that installing any other operating system will invalidate warranty, I just wanted to know if it is true?? I mean if warranty void if I install Linux.

 

and just in case anybody else tried Ububtu on Inspiron 1545, I just wanted to know is it compatible with that ??
