Alienware Clock Speeds Decrease In GPU

I recently purchased an Alienware m14x, and it runs very nicely. The only problem I have is for some reason when the laptop is running on battery, the framerate drops drastically when gaming. I already made a power plan that uses the GPU at max settings on battery, but it didn't work. I installed MSI Afterburner 2.1.0 and noticed that when the computer is plugged in the Core clock, Memory clock, and Shader clock both go up. When I unplug it, they all drop down a lot. I hope there is a way to control this and if there is a solution please respond! Thanks

Your battery may just not have the power output  ?

I don't know this for sure but seems a possible.

I don't own an Alienware laptop, but I believe this topic has been discussed before. The laptop is designed that way as to conserve battery life when on battery only.

    Check your manual.
