nvidia GTX 460M 3D stereoscopic test issue
Hey guys,
I just updated the driver on my Alienware M17XR3. Currently running version 280.26. However, when I perform the 3D stereoscopic test, the output no longer works with my 3D vision glasses anymore. Not only that, the 3D Vision preview pack 1 which used to show the images accurately using the previous drivers also now render the images differently.
Previously, the 3D images had three stacks of images if viewed without the glasses. Now, they show red and green shades instead (if I'm not mistaken, this is called anaglyph?). Is there a setting that I'm supposed to do? Or are these drivers incompatible? Please enlighten me.
Thanks in advance :)

Thats the problem..The images load, but they load in red and green anaglyphs instead of stacks..Do you see them in red and green?
Also, when you updated, did you update EVERYTHING? including the 3D controller? And did you enable the checkbox for fresh install?
My question: HOW are you running 280.26 on your M17XR3?! I can't for the life of me get the update to install.
Just bought the thing, just had it arrive today, can't do Deus Ex (setup boxes are missing text, I assume it's old drivers for a freshly released game).
Dell provided version is 269.something.
I have the nvidia 280.26. I've tried running their setup (which can't find my 'supported hardware'), and tried doing an 'update driver' from device manager, no go on both.

I installed 280.26 yesterday. I just ran the 3D vision preview pack 1 and had no issues.
Can you go into the nVidia control panel and check the 3D settings, enable 3D, and ensure that the Alienware 3D vision notebook is selected in the display type.
Can you click on the "Test stereoscopic 3D" button and see if the glasses work properly.
