Poor performance, low FPS while gaming lately.
Hello,
I have a m18x, service tag <ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy> . I used to be able to run most games I played at max settings, which at the time were Skyrim, Diablo3, and League of Legends. I've noticed lately that I can barely run them at low settings now because of performance issues. I really only play League of Legends lately, and with everything on low settings, I will drop down under 40fps very very often, and when the action starts in a big fight, I will drop down to 11-19 every time. I have noticed no difference while changing all of the in game video settings, from high to low, and seems consistent (poor performance) between most games I've ran as tests.
So far from what I've searched up I did clean the fans & vents at the back of the laptop as recommended inc ase overheating was a problem.
Looking for any help to identify the issue and resolve it, thanks!

I have the nvidia experience app, and everything was updated completely with the latest drivers. :( I ran alien autopsy and everything is fine except for like warranty being expired, and no windows password.

Hi, have you tried updating your video driver, heres some links to the AMD and NVidia driver webpages:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Make sure to un-install your old drivers and their components via control panel, uninstall program. Then restart computer.
It would be a good idea to download driver sweeper and run that after you have done the restart, just to clear out any leftover bits, then re-install the new driver - If your using NVidia, tick custom install during installation and select the "clean install" box
