If you know how to do it why not do it yourself?  Granted if you break something your out of luck.  You could ask your local repair shop how much to repast your laptop.  If i remember correctly the Alienware laptops are generally easy to access in terms of the Processor and GFX cards.  Generally.   And if you have the local shop do it they normally have a warranty of some sort.
