Upgrading Alienware X51
PC Specs:
- i3-3220
- GTX 645
- 330w PSU
I'm considering upgrading to a GTX 660 and I'm worried about the PSU. It's difficult to upgrade the PSU on the x51 because almost all PSU's above 330w cannot fit. Can someone find a PSU that can fit into the x51 or find out if a 330w PSU can support the gtx 660?

I have the GTX 760 ti with the same PSU. There are several videos on youtube of people installing GPU upgrades with and without PSU upgrades.

Yes this system will be able to handle the GTX660 without any problem and that ac adapter will work perfectly fine, that is the most powerful ac adapter that we have for the X51 model for now.
