Which one?!?!
I got my Aurora with 3 gigs of 1333mhz and a dell rep suggested i go to a 2 gig stick for $120 (a little much). I found the following and wanted to see if they would be compatiable with my machine. whats the diff between DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600), DDR3 1333 (PC3 10660), and DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) which type of ram can work with my Aurora? can i even put in 1600mhz or just stick with 1333mhz? sorry, i know very little about ram.

I believe that 10600, 10660 and 10666 are all the same and refer to the actual memory transfer rate of 10,666MB/S. I don't think you can mix memory types and certain mobos have to have slot fillers put in. Your best bet is tp phone tech support and ask :o)

you should just need to match the pin sizes up and get the right mhz but heres a system scanner crucial memory has should help you out even more!

eh only about 6... maybe more once i get more $$
So right now you have 3x1gigs of ram. All you need is another set of 3x1gig and your all set.eh only about 6... maybe more once i get more $
Your Aurora comes with 6 memory slots. I don't know what you do with your system but 6gig of memory is more then enough for most things.

yeah i know 6 is a lot. i know ive got 6 ram slots. i was thinking of getting another 6 at 1333mhz pc3 10600 and just throwing them in to get a total of 9 gigs but then again to save money i can just get another 3 gigs of 1333mhz at pc3 10600. do they have to be the same cas, voltage and latency?
