Adding floppy. YES a floppy!

Trying to decide between adding internal floppy and a USB floppy.

Do I need anything else other what is instaled in my XPS 410 to add an internal floppy?

I see power connections, but no floppy cable.

Do I need a SATA cable?.

LOL.  It is amazing what one can learn from the manual.  Immediately after posting my request I decided to see what the manual sez..and it is just as  bweed6 sez...I need a cable.
    Thanks

no - you'll need a floppy cable, not sata. the connector on the 410 mobo is near the bottom of the board, about halfway between the pci slots and the rear fan plug,.

Just recently bought a USB external floppy drive from newegg for under $20.  Simple as pie, works fine, highly recommended.

it is highly unlikley you will ever absolutely have to have a 1.4 meg floppy, especially now that most new systems have the ability to boot from a USB device.  If I absolutely had to get a floppy I would get a USB Floppy drive, because it won't eat up space inside your case and you can leave it in the box until the day you need it.

Just ordered my USB floppy minutes ago from Newegg for reasons you mention. Was about $8 more than installing one from scratch but I really don't want one installed permanently
