Adding videocard for Optiplex GX280
I'm trying to add a videocard to an Optiplex GX280. It was previously using the onboard VGA.
The IT department ordered a Silicon Image Orion ADD2-N Dual Pad DVI card. I figured it would be plug and play but it doesn't detect. I tried going into BIOS but it was already set to use the add-in graphic adapter. Any help is much appreciated.

- Alright so I tried what you said but it didn't help. I tried to reinstall the video driver. So now when I go to the display properties it will show two monitors I can choose from. I click on "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" then I click apply and I find the box unchecked. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Try going into the bios and disable the onboard video card. Put the dvi card in the slot while the system is off. Restart the system to see if it will then be detected.
