here is from the ati website, I have used both nvidia and ATI and I currently own ati and I think ATI does a better job with the quality of picture.  I have never been able to get my Nvidia cards to produce the same graphic qualities in Halo as my old ATI cards could.

 

 

 

Plus, don't forget the mid level come in 65nm chips.

performance is lackluster (lags behind 8800GTX in almost all benchmarks), and it eats up more power than an 8800gtx. a big letdown from ati/amd.

well it is 150 cheaper than a 8800gtx tho.

its cheaper, and runs much better on super high rez monitors =)

 

if you have a 24 -30 inch wide, you want the x2900 =)

ya, I mean, yes I am still a bit unimpressed, but the HD 2900 XTX is going to be very powerful but only for OEM.  I heard it is because the card is really big and the power and cooling requirements are really demanding.
