Audio Drivers

I just recieved these computers yesterday. I have had nothing but issues finding the correct drivers for this operating system. The CD that came with the computer has every driver for Windows XP but I'm running Windows ME. I'm not sure which integrated audio that this computer has but I believe it is the Analog Devices ADI 198x. I'm able to find the drivers for XP and 2000 everywhere, but nothing for 98 or ME. I would appreciate any feedback on this issue. Thanks

    Hi

If you just recieved the computors yesterday why are you trying to install drivers today??? It didn't come preloaded from the factory. I'm confused.

I, too, have a Dimension 2400 with ADI 1885 integrated audio.  I have re-installed Windows 2000 OS, and the resource disk only has Windows XP drivers  for this (for ADI 198x).  The Dell site sends one to the ADI site for a W2000 driver, which wants to know the motherboard ID, which I cannot find anywhere (no label, no BIOS ID).  This message seemed to fill the bill, so I tried this download (Intel 5[1].12.1.3713_ADI_SM4_SF.EXE).  It gives me a message at the end to the effect of "driver not found; reboot and try again" - no joy.  Help, please!  Thanks

No joy on 3019-A13.exe, either.  The setup.exe doesn't do anything.  This seems to be shooting blind as long as I don't know what motherboard is in the Dimension 2400.  How do I find that out?  It is not on the board and the BIOS has no ID.
