Audio Drivers
I just recieved these computers yesterday. I have had nothing but issues finding the correct drivers for this operating system. The CD that came with the computer has every driver for Windows XP but I'm running Windows ME. I'm not sure which integrated audio that this computer has but I believe it is the Analog Devices ADI 198x. I'm able to find the drivers for XP and 2000 everywhere, but nothing for 98 or ME. I would appreciate any feedback on this issue. Thanks

No i got them with no operating system. I already have operating systems here that we use. So, no there was nothing preloaded.I, too, have a Dimension 2400 with ADI 1885 integrated audio. I have re-installed Windows 2000 OS, and the resource disk only has Windows XP drivers for this (for ADI 198x). The Dell site sends one to the ADI site for a W2000 driver, which wants to know the motherboard ID, which I cannot find anywhere (no label, no BIOS ID). This message seemed to fill the bill, so I tried this download (Intel 5[1].12.1.3713_ADI_SM4_SF.EXE). It gives me a message at the end to the effect of "driver not found; reboot and try again" - no joy. Help, please! Thanks
