Computer is still Freezing
Hi...I have had a chronic computer problem where when I am on Internet Explorer or Printing, it is likely the computer will freeze. I have tried many things to fix this problem. I have reinstalled the video driver, the printer, internet explorer, run repair on internet explorer, changed the amount of programs loading on startup, and my power manangement. None of these have fixed the problem longterm. It may stop freezing temporarily but then it will start again. I have even reformatted the C Drive, also not fixing the problem. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help.. Thanks
I also have plenty of memory and hard drive as I have 20 gb hard drive and 16 gb are free, and i have 256 memory.
Some other information is that i am running a Dimension XPS R 450
with an external Yamaha CD Burner
thanks

What devices are installed in your expansion slots? Do you have a network card? Has anything else been added to the system in terms of PCI devices since you first powered up the system? How is your external CD-RW device connected? Is the problem still there if the CD-RW is not connected? Check some of these things and get back to us with more information and we'll proceed from there.
