Cursor color change

I recently deleted an unused program of additional cursors. Now my little arrow has turned WHITE ! How
do I get it back to black which is much easier to see.

    Miriam: Looking in mine, I found:

    Start | Settings | Control Panel | Mouse | Pointers Tab | Scheme | Inverse

    See if that is what you want???

    Thanks. I tried your suggestion. Got to the Pointer tab, but there is no "scheme" listed, nor "inverse". Pointer is still white! thanks anyway.

    Kept playing around on the mouse site and finally got the black cursor back. Thanks for your help.
