Dell OptiPlex3010 HDD Failure
Hello, I have recently had a HDD failure (data backups were in place thankfully) on my 2013 OptiPlex desktop.
I purchased a new 3TB Seagate HDD to rebuild on; however I only had Windows7 installation CDs and the device upgraded to Win10 in early 2016.
I was not able to convert the Disk to GPT and then use the Win7 installation. I (had) hoped that after installation and upgrade to Win10 I would be able to change the format and get the 3rd TB of drive space. No joy.
I know I am out of warrantee; however I thought I would try to find out if I could get Win10 Pro media from Dell to do a clean installation before I give up and start the re-installation of applications on what is now a 2TB HDD.
If I am (because I upgraded to Win10 while the free upgrade offer was in place) entitled to a Win10Pro installation CD please let me know how I can obtain it.

You can download the Win 10 Pro ISO file and tools to create your own bootable Win 10 installation media directly from Microsoft for FREE.
