Dimension 2350 missing controller drivers

I reinstalled XP Home Edition and I seem to be missing 4 controllers:

  • Ethernet Controller
  • Multi-Media Audio Controller
  • Sm Bus Controller
  • Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

Also, when reinstalling, the SRBG.ICM file could not install.  Should I be concerned?

I found all but the SM Bus controller when plugging in the Service Tag, but I want to make sure of any particular order of installation.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Yes, you need to install the drivers and applications in the correct order, see HERE

    All the Dell 2350 drivers and downloads are HERE

    Todd.

    As far as I know it's part of the Intel Chipset driver that's listed on Dell's download site and is the first driver to install.

    AAHHHHH!    :emotion-9:

    I received the following after installing SP2: "c0000135 {unable to locate Component}

    The application failed to start up because winsrv was not found. The best solution to this problem is to reinstall the application."

    I've read plenty of 'fixes', including making 'adjustments' through Recovery Console.  Do you know of anything that 'really' works?
