DIMENSION 3000 help

Today I installed more ram into my computer. I've done it a million times, i know how to do it. I installed it successfully, but when i went to turn on my computer the monitor was blank and remains that way. I checked to make sure it was plugged in and it was. After looking at my computer long and hard i noticed that P7 was just hanging there. I assume that it needs to go some place, but i can't figure out where. help.

usually that P7 connector doesnt get loose easily coz it has securing locks on it....try checking your system carefully....

try looking for the 12v power connections or any white slots, it should only fit on a certain slot.....

    XG,

More than likely you have bumped your video card, open the case and re-seat the card.

    xgeralynx,

Are you sure its not just one of the extra power connectors built in to almost every computer so that you have a power connector when you add a device?

As for the memory, if you remove the memory you just installed, does it return to normal?  Are you sure you installed compatible memory?
