You need to delete all existing partitions when you are prompted, then recreate the partitions and format the hard drive, following by installing XP.

Post the issue in the appropriate Board, where they will be answered.If you want a "Clean" install you need to put the disk into the cd drive and restart the computer. Press the F12 key as soon as you see the Big Dell screen. This will bring you to the boot menu. Select the option to boot from the CD drive. and press enter.
The computer will now boot up from the CD. at the installation screen you can select the option to reformat the harddrive which will wipe it out and then reinstall the operating system

*Onboard or USB CD-Rom Drive. That's it.
by checking the device manager there is 4 flags for the following
ethernet controller
multimedia audio controller
video controller
video controller ( VGA compatible )
the part i dont understand it was supposed to be back to factory condition instead it just restred the actual xp to a fresh which is cool but now i need help with solving other issue thanks for your patience
