I am not sure what system you have, but the XPS systems show a new driver update under SATA drives for the SAMSUNG HD501LJ 500 GIG Lead Free HD.  It states it's urgent, but it doesn't not give any specifications as to what makes it urgent.  It might possibly pertain to your situation.

I would check around and see if you can find out why it's urgent, maybe contact Dell support via email or with a moderator on these forums and see if you can get any information as to why.

If you go to http://support.dell.com and enter your system information you will see the urgent driver under SATA drives.  THe directions seem a little daunting compared to a normal, download driver, click install.  But it's worth a shot.

    I downloaded the driver.

burned the ISO to a CD-ROM

Restart the pc and from the CD-ROM

But it didn't help. Still the same message.

    my system is:

    XPS 420 (march 2008)
