1) Click Start|Run
2) Type sysedit and click OK
3) Click on the config.sys to bring it to the front.
4) Make the line that looks like this:

DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE


Look like this instead:

DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE /FRAME=NONE AUTO


Close everything and save changes when prompted, and then restart the computer:
Start|Shutdown|Shutdown|OK
