"FPU Error Exception Test" failed!
Hi.
The computer works fine. Due to a suspected garphic cards problem, I ran Diagnostics.
Subject test fails when running Diagnostics on my XPS700.
Error Code 4C00 082D
Msg: No IRQ13 following a denormalized operand. Expected 0002h Actual 0000h.
What's wrong here?
Thanks,

Do you have an X-fi? If so uninstall it and remove it from the computer and SLI should work then you can add the X-fi back in.
I have a post of more detail if that does not work for you.tphillips63

your sound card, and any others take them out and the video should work but you might need to remove them from the windows too even after you take them out.tphillips63

Is it that you can't find it in the new nvidia panel? It is harder to find and you can turn it to the old classic version.
If that is not it, have the latest driver on your computer and get drivercleaner pro and use it to remove your drivers for the video.
After the reboot install the drivers and give it a try.- See this here:
http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=dim_monitor&message.id=71116#M71116
I don't have "Show SLI Visual Indicators" within "3D Settings". The only items which are listed are "Appearance" and "Performance".
Also switching to the Classic View doesn't bring up the SLI selection.
Both cards properly show in the device manager.
?!?!

It sounds like your drivers are messed up, which is common.
Download drivercleaner pro and remove your nvidia drivers, reboot and install the latest drivers again and you should have normal control back
The program will actually clean the entire system drives, registry etc of the entries so that when you install the new drivers it is in pristine shape.- I found the homepage og Drivercleaner Pro, but couldn't see a free version (is there any?). Hence, I uninstalled the drivers via the WinXP Add/Remove Programs. I reinstalled the 93.71 drivers. Same problem!
Here the screenshot of the NVIDIA 3D settings.

As far as I understood, there should be an SLI switch at this place. Right?
Thanks,

Under diagnostics you need to get the current version patch and it should be the one to patch your hard drive location rather than the full download ISO.
This is a know bug but after patching hopefully you can determine if the video is a problem.
