Graphics card or CPU? - Blue Screen
Hello
here's the situation:
I was playing Final Fantasy XI, an Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. I checked every system hardware specs, and it's fully compatible with the game..
However, during these 2 days since I bought the game, I receive at least 1 blue screen when I play the game. I tried using a high settings mode, to low settings mode (the graphics) and it still happens...
the blue screen just suddenly happens after the game freezes for 2 secs. Once the blue screen appears, no words or anything appeared. The only solution to that is to press the power button...
what's wrong? is it my CPU or my Video card?
I dusted everything, and it still happens. What's causing the lockup?
Can anyone help me?
the system specs are below
I have the latest ATI Radeon catalyst drivers (4.2 version)

Post here and see if someone can help. My bet at this point is the Creative drivers????
Sound card drivers have a lot to do with the gaming situation and affect graphical and game play operations. There are a lot of updates for the sound card you have on the creative site. Many of the games I play list Creative problems needing updated drivers. The gamers at the forum I listed can probably help you further. But this one may be better. You can definately get a blue screen from a bad sound card driver!

Unless someone with the game has a solution, I would start here:

Your system should play the game. I would check sound card drivers, but would make sure to read the "read me" game file first.
