Welcome to my Help My Non - Tech Fiance'  Nightmare...

Scenario: Sh was given a Dell with no Docs. No Service Tag. I do have Identifying numbers, but Dell in thrie infinite wisdom, has to have the Tag number or scan the Desktop.  Well Desktop is 5,000 miles away and having my girl do a remote access with Dell,...well that is Remote. I spent 30 minutes stepping her thru how to get to theSystem Properties Tabs...

I can supply what I have and if anyone can advise a solution, thanks in advance.  -

It's a Dell desktop , year 2000. She mentioned Windows Pofessional 2000 was on a lable.  It is now bo running Windows XP Professional;

Numbers:

Product Number P / N -DPD224 - That number usually works for me with any Company, not here.

KRVK8-YT63V-YKFCA-H2CTG-FGMKQ - ??? Sh mentioned Procuct key which in my world is for software...

it was bought in the Philippines at a retail shop.  i have a pic Iwill try to attach now Focus on Pic not my girl. :) ha...ha..
