The monitor on my wifes 4600 keeps going black every 2-3 seconds. Tried another monitor, same thing. Now the PC cannot access the Internet. But all my other PC can log on to the net. When I type ipconfig at a C: promt, I get a "Media Disconnected" message and the ip address is all wrong. Any ideas out there? BL

If you have a video card, try to used the integrated video output on the motherboard. But if you dont have a video card, i suggest to reformat the computer and reinstall the system again. But first of all you have to back-up the data that you have. Also you can check on the drivers of the video card in system hardware.
