Multimedia Audio Controller
Hi Well I Reformated My PC because of a virus and well for some reason i have both cd's and i have installed the resource cd and the windows XP reinstalation cd but for some reason it wont reinstall. i found a similar post and i downloaded and tried to install the R90698 and R104084 and R114079. The First Two didnt want to install because it said that there was no driver found but the R114079 did install. i tried to reinstall after restart but still nothing happened. IM COMPLETLY LOST!
Oh and by the way i have a Dimension 8250
- similar situation here. I went to help a friend with his pc sound (dimension 4500) and it can't see his audio controller. Not sure what drivers to re-install. Not sure where to begin. His speakersw are fine, but multimedia is not found. please help.

I think you are unable to find the correct sound drivers.

Such issues usually occur with Sound Blaster sound card. Look for your sound card, if it is sound blaster, you can download the drivers by following the link below:
http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/
