nVidia GeForce 6800 question.

I purchased a Dimension 8400 with the nVidia GeForce 6800 video card. I don't know much about hardware so I question if I chose the right video card. I do some video editing, just home stuff and I like to capture and encode music videos that I like and save them in PC for playback. I read in an article that a 3-D video card can enhance video playback...is the nVidia GeForce 6800 a 3-D video card? Also, what setting will improve my video playback? Thanks

    To see the specs of your video card go to:

    Start

    --> Run

    --> type "dxdiag"

    --> go to the "Display Tab"

    All the info you need should be here, try running the Direct3D scan.

    Good card. you should have no problems running video editing and playback on that card.
