Optiplex 270 vs. win 98
im aware of that optiplex 270 and win 98 doesnt work properly. But can anyone help me finding the right drivers so that Usb 2 function work and soundcard work again... Does anyone else have the same problem??
The boot system is also a bit odd, because it forces me to push f1 to start up the system.

You will never get USB2.0 to work properly with W98, so you might as well give that 1 up. Any fast USB2.0 devices like scanners and HD should use a SCSI or FireWire connector. In terms of sound, need to get an older soundblaster card and W98 drivers for it. WIll work well.
Boot problem interesting. machine might be clocked too fast for W98. Underclock it.
