Printer problem with using Word
I am using Windows XP home edition, Word 2003 and printing using a Dimension 3000 computer and a Dell A940 printer. I am trying to print on a 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper that has a printed border. The page feed throughs the printer but nothing is printed. In I use a sheet of paper thtat does not have a border, it prints fine. I did not make any changed between printing the two pages. Dell sent me another printer but that did not solve the problem. Does anybody have any ideas??

Hi,
How close to the edge of the paper are you trying to print. What are the margin settings in MS Word
File
Page Setup
Margins tab
If you are trying to print too close to the edge of the page, you will get errors which could be varied. Blank paper being quite possible.
Most printers except specialist photo printers will not print right to the edge of the paper.
