"Problem" Opening Case
Hello,
I owe a Dimension 4700 desktop, and recently have wanted to buy a new video card, prior to this I had never opened the case up. After finding out Dell computers are not like normal cases, I came to the site to find my solution, unfortunately, there is...something missing on the tab that would normally be there to open it up.
I took this quick picture with my webcam. This metal piece, where the opening tab would be is very stubborn and doesn't move. I'm unaware of any other means of opening my case, and would very much appreciate anyones suggestions
Thank you in advance.

The graphics Bev provided show how to remove the cover. What they don't show is where you have to massage the cover to get it to break free and slide out. Some of these side covers can get stubborn.I bang on them with the heel of my palm along the edge until they want to move. The only place you can pry on this cover is along the rear backplane edge, but I don't recommend this.

Post the issue in the appropriate Board, where they will be answered.
