Problem. Problems Installing Logitech Premium Stereo Headset

The headset I bought is analog which has two prongs one for the headset and one for the microphone. The problem is that I have only one port for the mic.and I need two. The quesition is that there are 3 ports for my stand alone speakers. If I unplug my speakers I can use the headset with mici. but loss my speakers.
The Question is........Can I some how have my speakers on and my headset with mic. at the same time.
Please reply,

What model PC?  What sound system?

On many Dell models there is a front panel headphone jack and on newer models there are both a headphone and mic jack.

You only need headphone and mic jack on all headsets that I've seen.  If yours has a headset jack in front, but no mic, you will need to get a microphone extension cable so you can plug the extension cable into the mic input on the rear and have a long enough cable to plug the mic jack into the extension cable on the front.

If you just have rear panel connections, you can use the "line out" for the headset portion but you will have to manually mute your speakers (turn off or turn volume control down on the speakers) when you use the headset combo.

If this general info doesn't help or apply, you need to post your Model Number so someone can give you specific assistance.  The model number and operating system should be on any initial problem post.  There are many Dell models and configurations.
