Rear Speaker
I recently purchased a new Inspiron 530 system with the WL 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System. Can anyone offer me any tips on getting the rear speaker to stop going out after about 20 minutes? When I first turn on the speakers, the rear speaker will start out working just fine. However, after the initial 20 minute time frame it will start making popping noises, then it will develop static, and finally it will stop playing music and go into searching mode, which of course it never picks up the signal again, so it goes into sleeping mode. Someone, please help. This is getting very frustrating and upsetting considering the price.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Sounds like it is losing the frequency. Try the informational steps below.
Press the test tone button on the back of the subwoofer for half a second to try another channel in the 5.0 GHz range.
Turn off any other 5 GHz devices such as cordless phones. If the noise disappears, select a different channel for either the cordless phone or the rear speaker
