Replacing the 5-year old System Battery
Dell's guide instructs prior to battery removal to copy System Setup Settings by printing the screens (by pressing for future reference. I tried several times and Print Screen did not work. No Paste function. No clipboard when in Setup mode!
Reviewed FAO's and found no information. Would appreciate and welcome any suggestions.

- Lu, some folks have used a digital camera to photograph each of the individual BIOS screens.What Dell model you have? For a lot of the older systems like the XPS T, XPS R, 4100, etc, the removal of the battery doesn't really change many settings. When the battery is replaced the system will redetect all the installed hardware and configure it accordingly. Some personalized options like the Boot Sequence, Quiet Boot & Quick Boot will have their settings defaulted back to the way they were when the system was first shipped to you. Not a big problem, you will just have to go back and change them.

Per Majestic it looks like my XPS will save the data.
