No one can tell you exactly how much you can overclock it since every card is different. You will have to use a overclocking utility and find out for youself how much it will take. The card will show artifacts when it has been overclocked too far.

wat sort of an idiot would spend that much money on a card that is already the worlds best (well, at least within the top 5) and then want to overclock it more, just go and play the games, geez.

Uhm, considering that you can overclock the 6800 up to around 6800 gt speeds, almost all people who know how to overclock will do so with this card to get that affect and save the $100 instead of buying the gt version.  Idiot responses like this really arent needed...

Its OCed, but not that much. You can up the GPU speed by another 50MHz maybe...and probably OC the memory too.

And btw coldkilla, if you want to overclock, you might want to consider a different card then the BFG. Look for the Leadtek 6800. The cooling is supposed to be great, and it has higher quality memory.

This is a Dell video card forum and not a overclocking forum . If you don't know how to oc then try NVnews.com i'm sure you'll find all kinds of overclockers there.

yeah im using the 6800 oc with my current setup and the original psu. and the card works great, and its performance is worth the price. i just wanted to overclock to get speeds near the gt. i was just asking the safe speeds just bc i was curious if others with the same card had good performance upgrades with more overclocking.
