SoundMax audio drivers.

Hi,

Its been a bit since i've been here, but can anyone help.

I've having a problem with loading a couple of games, and it was suggested i upate my sound drivers. I have searched but can't find anything more recent than 2002. I have attached some of my dxdiag.

If that is the only drivers listed on the Dell downloads for your system, that is all that is available. There is a Gaming section on the forum and you may want to repost there since it's really a gaming issue. Maybe one of the "gamers" will have some suggestions for you. You don't need all the data you posted, just the PC Model Number, Operating System and the fact you have a SoundMax integrated audio. (Integrated audio is not the best for games).

BTW, the Workstation/Optiplex section of the forum is for support with your Optiplex. This Desktop section is primarliy for consumer Dimension and Inspiron Desktop system support.

First, posting on an old (5 year old) post is not the way to get help on this forum. Start a new thread.

Second, all that is not needed and does nothing for someone to try and help you. All we need is the PC Model Number, Operating System a description of the problem.
