Spyware?

I'm having some trouble with my Dell Dimension shutting down.  It is very slow and exhibits a message about hpcmpmgr.exe running and not being able to shut it down.  Some times I also get a similar message with CWWDX Session Monitor in it.  I think that these are spyware, but my anti spyware, (SBC,  Adaware, & Spybot) all run and do not remove these programs.  Does anyone know how to rid my system of these menaces?

    1. Start menu-->run--> type msconfig--> hit enter
    2. go to startup tab, un-check hpcmpmgr box
    3. Click apply, close window, restart computer
    4. Your computer should now have started WITHOUT hpcmpmgr running, double check in task manager under processes tab (CTRL-ALT-DLT).
    5. start a search for hpcmpmgr (make sure to search hidden and sytem files under advanced search option)
    6. delete hpcmpmgr.exe
    7. I also deleted the overland folder in program files, though I made a backup in case it ends up being critical.
