Not sure of correct terminology - but evertime I turn on my computer or have to boot it - too many programs run automatically. i.e. Yahoo, IM, Morpheus, Weather Bug. Is there a way to make them STOP...

Yes there is a way to stop them. Most of them will have an option within the program that will stop them. If you can't find the way to do it that way then read the information at the following links.
