Does your computer meet all the requirements, or shall I say, recommendations, to play the game? It's on the box the game came in. If your computer is too slow, it will crash when the system is bogged down. If it meets ALL the demands, go to the Sims homepage and download and install all the patches. It's real easy to do. If that doesn't help.... I would need more information.
