ATI makes the graphics processing chip and PowerColor fabricates the video card per ATI's design. There are several companies that fabricate ATI-based cards. Others include Sapphire, Connect3D, HIS, MSI, Gigabyte and more.

 

im now very confused?  the power color is that ati or just have the ati card in it? Will the power color work in my diemension 2400?

Yes, should work fine. PowerColor is a good brand; I have one of their Radoen 9600 Pro cards in my daughter's PC. Works great. Sapphire & Gigabyte are my other personal preferences in Radeon cards. The "Made by ATI" cards are good, too, but tend to be a bit overpriced, IMO.

 

I called powercolor to see if that would be a good card for my D 2350!!

They said no!!!!  I would need a powersupply of min 350watt!!

I think the D. 2400 has same as my D. 2350 which only has a power supply of 200 watts. 

I just installed the ATI Radeon 9200 in my D2350 so far so good!!

If you look at the start page of the video forum it has the few cards that will work with a D. 2400,

The Radeon 9200 is one of them but with ony 128mb ram ob!!!!

if i use the 256 mb 9200 pci video card in my diemension 2400,  will it hurt the comp any if i put it in? and also what slot do u put it in i have the bottom and top open the center is the network card.
