I have updated an older Vostro 420 PC with Windows 8.1 bit software, have updated it with the latest version of Microsoft office and patched all the Windows Updates. My issue is with the display driver. Looking through all the drivers listed on the dell sites and other forums, there seems to be an issue with updating the display driver to Windows 8.1 compatibility for the 420. Other models seem to be possible but is there a link or a way to update the 420 display driver to the most recent Windows 8.1 64 bit software?
