wired keyboard unresponsive
My Dell wired keyboard is unresponsive after an updated version of MicrosoftXP was installed. If I hold a key down for 2-3 seconds it will respond. I have rebooted the computer and tried the keyboard on another computer to determine that the keyboard itself is not an issue. Help!!! Thanks.

Hi: My computer is a Dimenstion 2400 and it was an automatic upgrade for WindowsXP when I turned on my computer after a 2 week absence. No, I didn't try another keyboard on my computer and it will be about an hour before I can. I will let you know. I read somewhere that the keyboard may have to be reprogrammed after an update but I can't find how to do this. Thank you!!!! Peggy

Hi Peggy Busk,
It would be helpful if you provided the model of your computer and which Windows update was installed. You said you tried this keyboard on another computer, but did you try another keyboard on this computer?
