Xps 710 need updated audio driver

Hello

I presume that I need to upgrade my audio driver in order to play fallout 3 since this game is keep freezing and tech keep referring to upgrading my audio driver, I have looked on Dell driver download and the recent I can find there for xps 710 was from 2007 or 2006. I tried other but it says wrong specification and it won’t let me install them, as well no luck searching Google.

SigmaTel Audio

Driver Version: 5.10.5143.0000 (English)

    grygnyw,

This a link to the divers for your XPS 710. You have to select your OS for the correct driver from the drop down menu.

This is the driver I have right now, and its from 2006 which make it very old, usually audio drives are updated every few months. Any alternative ?driver I can use

You may want to look for an answer at the support forum of your game. There maybe customers with the same problem you are having with an audio driver.

    I found this driver

Thanks for looking, I tried R182475 and R173209 on both it says that they support xps 710 but when I try to install them it stop saying "This is not the correct audio driver for the system. The installer will now exit"
