13.3v 9c PANASONIC Replacement Battery offered ????

I own an 630M laptop. I had some problems with my battery that originally came with the system and so I have called for a replacement since the system is still within the warranty period !!

Can U gimme some info about these two batteries and any experience with Panasonic batteries ??

Originally supplied battery : Part # FC141 BATTERY, PRIMARY, 80WH, 9C, LITHIUM, SIMPLO

Replacement battery : Part # YG326 BATTERY, PRIMARY, 13.3V, 9C, LITHIUM, PANASONIC

    Well then I hope this one functions better than my previous 9 cell which used to give me around 3-4 hours of normal use !!

    3-4 hours is very good, actually. I don't think you can expect much more.

    Look at it this way - of the three leading lithium ion battery suppliers, Sony and Sanyo have had massive recalls, while Panasonic has not. Panasonic did recall batteries used in its Toughbooks, but those were Sony batteries.

    of a 9-cell Battery ???? R U SERIOUS ??

    I thought its supposed to give me around 6-7 hours with normal use !

    I just received the new battery; checked it and it is a part # UG679 ...

    This seems to be a battery offered for E1405 / 640M notebooks...

    any idea about the lifetime of THIS 9 cell battery ??
