600m users...favor needed
Hey, I'm planning on ordering a 600m (1.7 ghz, 64mb, lotsa ram) and was wondering if one of you with a 600m with similar specs could run this benchmark program for me in low res. It's for final fantasy xi. Im just curious on how it rates in comparison with my current PC.

Hey thanks alot. Thats about what I was looking at except the processor but it'll give me a rough estimate of how it performs. If you have time, run the high res option too but if you don't it's fine. Thanks :)

If you're considering this for a gaming machine, it's a good choice. I play plenty of games on mine and have no problems. The 64MB card is the way to go, and get at least 512MB of RAM.

I tried that benchmark awhile back, but forgot my exact score (I think that I got a lower end score in the "decent challenge"). The games I play are C&C generals ZH at 1400x1050 resolution with details set at low. I play RavenShield and the game is playable at 800x600 with details set to low. With thses games hopefully it gives you an idea of capability the laptop can handle.
I played these games with original Catalyst 3.7.
Cat 3.9 are out now by the way!

The i600m has a 64mb Radeon 9000 (or 32mb).
